On Friday, October 11th, at 10am, the Board will be hosting the first stakeholder meeting at our Springfield office to discuss the proposed Rules for Procedure in Administrative Hearings which will govern the process for bringing Discretionary Decertification actions under Section 6.3 of the Police Training Act. This new Section was added by the SAFE-T Act, and the draft rules may be viewed here. We look forward to gathering feedback and comments before posting these for the second notice and we plan to host a virtual meeting shortly thereafter.
